Alternative Music player To the Stock Windows 8 Player

After Posting Several articles on Windows 8 Activation and Windows 8 Pro Free Download, Now its Time to Explore Your Windows 8, Today we have come with a Great Music Player For Windows 8

, as There’s never been a shortage of music players for Windows, but the exact opposite can be observed when it comes to Windows Store in Windows 8, which has yet to receive a top notch music app that can challenge the likes of iTunes and WinAmp. Since Microsoft has designed Windows RT to run Windows Store apps only, the need for a decent Modern UI music player is definitely not to be neglected. Even though the OS does include a native music app, it doesn’t even compare to the plethora of full-featured desktop media players for Windows. If you aren’t satisfied with the default Modern UI player, try Music DJ instead. While it’s no WinAmp, this free app lets you listen to your favorite tunes and offers several features not available in the stock Music app.

One of the first things you’ll notice is the integrated search bar that lets you instantly find your favorite track from your library. Moreover, you can create multiple playlists, instantly queue tracks via double click (or double tap), sort music by songs, artists or albums, and even remotely control playback from your Windows Phone device.

Music DJ looks is Very Impressive, the dark grey theme sits perfectly with the overall design, while the navigation controls are also conveniently placed at the bottom. Music DJ consists of four main sections; the search bar at the top, your music library, the current playlist, and a now playing section. You get a couple of basic playback control buttons for play, pause and stop next to the currently playing track’s playlist entry. In the now playing section, the app displays metadata for the currently playing song including its name, artist, album, genre, duration, cover art etc, in addition to the standard playback controls for play/pause, stop, next, previous, and a seek bar. Another great feature of Music DJ is how intuitively you can add tracks to the playlist using drag-and-drop from the left pane into the playlist.

Music DJ also lets you queue an entire album. Simple tap the albums tab on the left and choose your desired album from the list. In the window that pops up, you can click Enqueue All or Play All to add the complete album to the playlist, or to stop the current playback and start playing this album immediately, respectively.

The app bar lets you toggle options for Shuffle and Repeat. In addition, you can create a new playlist, save the current one, or open a previously saved one.

At last at all , music playback can be controlled from a Windows Phone device by installing the Music DJ Remote client on the smartphone. However, this feature is available on Music DJ’s pro version only. The Remove Ads button to the left allows you to purchase Music DJ Pro that gives you access to this remote access feature and as the name suggests, removes all in-app advertisements.

In my opinion Music DJ is an awesome music app that leave the default one in the dust by delivering a great playback experience in an intuitive UI. The app works on Windows 8 and Windows RT.
